Sunday Lunch

A classic British tradition with a lakeside twist...

In the English-speaking world, Sunday roast is talked of in little more than a reverent whisper. It's a big deal. A Very Important Meal in the weekly calendar. This classic British dish, served on Sunday (traditionally after morning church service), is a favourite throughout the world for good reason - it's a chance to relax and reward yourself for a week well spent. An opportunity to enjoy fine food in good company...

So, without further ado, whet your appetite with roasted figs and dolce latté Parma ham. Then, on to the pièce de rèsistance – roasted topside of beef, served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasoned vegetables and lashings of wonderfully rich gravy. Top it all off with sticky toffee pudding accompanied by homemade vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce. Mmmm. (Don’t forget to finish on a freshly brewed note: liqueur coffee.) Sunday in Surrey anyone?
